About the Event

Join award-winning, Tony Award–nominated playwright and performer Jocelyn Bioh for a conversation about her journey from dancer and actor to writer. As her second Broadway play, School Girls; Or, the African Mean Girls Play, comes to Broadway with Manhattan Theatre Club, Jocelyn will share the experiences that shaped her path as an artist and writer.

Jocelyn will lead participants through fun and exploratory writing prompts designed to challenge the way they think about playwriting. The challenge? Write a 10-minute play in just 10 minutes!
