About the Event

Join Girls Write Now staff as a notetaker as we interview mentee and mentor candidates looking to become a part of The Collaboratory and help us create a diverse, equitable, and inclusive community where everyone belongs.

At our December meeting, we’ll explain the full process of note-taking for interviews and show why it’s so important to have diverse members of the community be an integral part of this process.

The IV DEIB Committee is committed to creating a more inclusive and equitable environment within Girls Write Now. This committee addresses issues related to Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging by developing initiatives that ensure all voices are heard and valued. The committee’s work includes promoting the integration of DEIB principles into all aspects of Girls Write Now’s operations and programming, implementing policies that promote inclusivity, and supporting underrepresented groups within the community. The ultimate goal is to build a community where everyone feels they belong and can contribute fully.
