About the Event

In this Intersectional Voices in Print Studio (IV Print), we will explore the publishing process from all angles, including editing, promotion, and bringing more voices to the page. This studio also provides insight into the making of Girls Write Now’s annual anthology, and in the spring cycle, members of the Print Anthology Committee will work on editing the book.

This month, learn about the art of producing a book, including how to edit a book (different than editing a magazine, newspaper, or blog). We’ll go over Chicago Style and how to use it to learn the right editing approach for the book…example, the word “OK” (psst, you spell it out — okay).

To attend this event, create a Girls Write Now account and register for this event through the portal.
