Language has nuance. Verbiage, tone and structure of a piece all contribute to how the story is portrayed and developed. The repetition of certain ideas through metaphor or words is complex and unique to each of the languages that it is native to. However, often, meaning can get scattered through translation. In this studio we aim to explore the unique qualities of languages, how the tones or phrases utilized in a story may shape and exemplify the specific cultural attitude of a group of people.
