Conceived and produced by Lead Community Change mentee Kayla Dudley, the Healotry initiative: Healing Through Poetry is a initiative designed to bring creative expression to underserved communities, providing a space for reflection, release, and resilience through words. As part of this initiative, What You Didn’t Say is a virtual poetry writing workshop that explores the power of poetry as a tool for healing.
Join Kayla for this interactive session, where we will explore how poetry can give voice to the unsaid, offering a means to process emotions, reclaim narratives, and foster connection. Whether you’re an experienced poet or just beginning your writing journey, this workshop will guide you through prompts and discussions that encourage self-expression and emotional growth. You can choose to participate in a 1-hour session or stay for the full 2-hour session to deepen your engagement.
Come as you are, and let your voice be heard. Healing begins with what you say—and what you didn’t.
