4:00 – 6:15 PM ET

Online event; open to all mentees, mentors, and mentee alum only.

Now that you have written a great manuscript, or have started one, what’s next? How do you get your work out there in the world? The first step is to write a solid query letter to attract a reputable literary agent who will sell your book to a publisher and negotiate your contract. At this workshop, you will learn the components of a query letter, draft one, if you haven’t already, then share and receive expert feedback from some of the top literary agents in publishing. You will also have the opportunity to learn about book proposals and how to navigate them while having the chance to ask questions and learn what literary agents are looking for!

Don’t miss this opportunity to hear from the pros at some of the finest literary agencies such as Thompson Literary Agency, Folio Literary Management, Francis Goldin Literary Agency, Sanford J. Greenburger Associates, Jane Rotrosen Agency, and more!

In this two part workshop, we will start with Query Letter Writing with Samantha Wekstein. We will then go into Query Letter Feedback with top literary agents.
