Refining Your Elevator Pitch with NBCUniversal

About the Event

In partnership with NBCUniversal, this workshop gives mentees the opportunity to learn how to create and deliver a compelling elevator pitch. Mentees should come with an idea for a media project they’d like to develop.

In the Refining Your Pitch workshop, mentees will explore what makes a successful pitch, how to market themselves, and how to convey their ideas effectively. After drafting their elevator pitch, mentees will have the opportunity to receive personalized feedback from an NBCUniversal Mentor for the Day.

In breakout rooms, NBCUniversal Mentors—employees of all backgrounds and across departments— will workshop mentees’ elevator pitches, provide industry insight, and give tips on presentation skills and strengthening their project’s impact.

By the end of this session, mentees will walk away with a developed elevator pitch, practical communication tools, and the confidence to share their ideas with others.
