virtual event; open to all mentees, mentors, program alum, prospective mentees & mentors, parents, guardians, educators, community based organizations, companies, and the public
What is something many of us were told is not polite to talk about? Here’s a hint: It’s green and it starts with a capital M. Money is funny. Some believe we each have at least one “money memory” from childhood informing our current financial decisions. We’re rarely given the opportunity to discuss it…and let’s face it: money matters. The messages we send our loved ones about fiscal responsibility matter more.
Join us for a candid conversation about finances—the ultimate family affair. In this Q&A style workshop—the second installation in our Financial Literacy Series—attendees will have the chance to ask UBS Managing Director, Shlomi Yedid about all things money. From savings, to transfer of wealth, asset allocation, and retirement, walk away with the “wealth” of knowledge you need to secure the financial future you want!
This is a family-friendly event.
UBS Managing Director Shlomi Yedid takes a broad-based and holistic approach to wealth management as he helps individuals and families achieve their long-term financial goals. Shlomi is Israeli-born and fluent in Hebrew. His team is accredited in Israel, and he travels there several times a year to visit clients. He earned his B.A. and M.B.A. from the University of New South Wales in Sydney, Australia. Shlomi worked as an Equity Research Analyst at Bear Stearns and Lehman Brothers and as an Investment Banker at Societe Generale prior to moving into wealth management at Merrill Lynch and later at Barclays. He joined UBS as a Senior Portfolio Manager and Senior Vice President of Wealth Management in June of 2015
