Girls Write Now Live is free for youth and open to the public for a suggested donation of $20.
Join us for an evening of boundary-pushing performances that will deepen your understanding of the world and yourself on March 26 from 6–7:30PM ET! You’ll witness electrifying original storytelling from teen writers who are loudly and proudly sharing their truths through prose, poetry, podcasting, video, illustration and more forms of multimedia work.
At these performances we are also proud to honor women authors and media makers who will deliver keynotes at the events. By turning off their mute buttons, they inspire and help amplify the voices of the next generation of writers and activists. This event features a Live Pre-Show Q&A at 6PM ET with honoree Georgina Lawton, author of Raceless: In Search of Family, Identity, and the Truth About Where I Belong (HarperCollins), and mentee Dominique de Castro and her mentor Courtney Stevenson as our emcees! The show will begin at 6:30PM ET.
In this digital world, our Girls Write Now Live: Unmuted performance series is more than a show, it’s a movement—a gathering that pulses with the power of shared stories. A celebration of diversity and authenticity. The refreshing cocktail of connection and community we all long for during this time of isolation.
Girls Write Now Live is free for youth and open to the public for a suggested donation of $20. Your donation enables us to support more girls and gender nonconforming youth with our award-winning programming, which builds writing and leadership skills—and life-long relationships. Thank you!
