About the Event

Through stories, recipes, and distinct, unique experiences, our culture plays a huge role in early development. Take a trip down memory lane and self reflect on how your cultural identity played a role in your childhood experience. Writers of all levels are encouraged to participate in this studio to explore early cultural joy, trauma, and growth. Nostalgia is guaranteed.

The Discovery: Oftentimes, people discover culture at an early age in life whether it be through moments of cultural joy or through traumatic experiences of ostracization. Get your writing gears turning as we explore reflecting on these experiences and putting them onto paper.
