Join us to to learn about Girls Write Now’s new committee, Intersectional Voices in Diversity Equity & Inclusion (IV DEIB).
We know your diverse perspectives and experiences will be of great value to us all—and we invite you, along with a “360 degree” group of stakeholders, to collaborate on key issues that impact our programming, community, and organization.
At the meeting, we will explain how the committee works, establish community agreements, then delve into our first topic, going “Beyond Binary” to discuss our current gender policy, which goes beyond the narrow confines of gender as a binary construct.
