In collaboration with Mattel, we’ll take you behind the scenes to discover how this extraordinary line of dolls was created, focusing on the selection of iconic figures like Isabel Allende, Maya Angelou, Shonda Rhimes, and Bessie Coleman.
We’ll delve into the power of writers as role models, the importance of highlighting BIPOC and immigrant voices, and the value of giving back to our communities.
Two attendees will receive a giveaway including their own Isabel Allende doll!
Plus, we’ll announce a new contest for writers aged 9-18!
