A great poster has the power to captivate and persuade its audience. A great event or cause deserves a captivating poster. Learn how to create an impactful poster to match your message using the principles of graphic design.
In this workshop, Mady will take you on a journey through the world of graphic design, showing you how to create a striking poster that both delights the eye and motivates your audience. Explore the power of design as a call to action for what you care most about using your imagination and the design platform Canva. Whatever your cause is, from Climate Justice to your school play, there’s a poster to be made to express your passion.
Meet the Teaching Artist
Mady Samsel
Mady Samsel is a 2019 Graphic Design graduate from Philadelphia University. During her college experience, she garnered a strong interest in using creativity to ignite change. Translating complicated information into visual designs that are easier to understand and digest, she learned that designing may help others. Her dream is to work in publication, while continuing to apply her creativity as a voice for change, helping those who may not be able to do so for themselves. Mady loves learning new things, various forms of design, and the arts. She also enjoys thrifting, helping friends with design projects, and her pets.
