Creating Through Uncertainty

About the Event

This studio focuses on the use of creative arts during times of uncertainty, namely, how individuals can harness the uplifting power of creation when dealing with life’s challenges. In this way, the creative arts may work in conjunction with the promotion of mental, emotional, and overall personal well being. The creative arts of choice for our three studios will include: poetry, fine arts/visual arts, and auditory expression.

In this session, we’ll be using sounds to tune into ourselves and lean into different emotions that we may be experiencing or have experienced in the past. Participants will try out creative sound and audio techniques like audio journaling, song writing, and beat-making.
