Lani will discuss fundamental elements of video production and teach us video editing on a non-linear timeline using the video editing app VITA. Participants will create their own video and collectively we will share our narratives in the form of performative storytelling.

    Co-creating Future: Augmented Reality As Crystal Ball

    In this workshop, inspired by the I Ching, an ancient text of Chinese wisdom and the world’s oldest oracle, artist and educator Zhenzhen Qi takes us through a variety of cultural divination practices to collectively design new or alternative patterns for fortune-telling. As a group, using the software development environment Lens Studio, we will code these patterns into a Snapchat AR filter to develop our own fortune-telling software experience. No prior software design or development experience is needed!
