Integration & Expansion of Nature Journaling: This studio will focus on integrating natural journaling into one’s own life, encouraging audiences to intentionally transfer energy, focus, and dedication in order to improve their health and mentality.
Adulting 101: Socially Awkward or Socially Awesome – This session focuses on making friends, navigating romantic relationships, and resolving conflicts within your social spheres.
In this session, participants will explore cultural storytelling as a way to understand self, memory, and belonging, and how writing can help process emotions connected to heritage and personal identity. Through reflective discussion and guided poetry writing, participants will examine how stories, both inherited and self-created, shape who we are and how we heal.
In this session, participants will explore color using collage and book cover design. Participants will translate personal stories into palettes and textures, letting color speak.
In this studio, we explore fantasy worldbuilding and discuss various categories as a framework for our own worldbuilding endeavors. Participants will collaboratively develop a fantasy world.
This month, attendees will explore the importance of defining a brand’s voice, and how this can make a lasting impact, regardless of scale or growth.
We will write from a choice of prompts that will inspire what you are working on at the time, or take you in a whole new direction, and discover more about yourselves as writers.
Participants will have the freedom to explore how they would like to present this problem to their fellow peers and teaching artists, whether this is through creative writing, journalism, mixed media, or more.
What does a character feel? Or rather, how does it feel to be a character in a story? This Community Studio sets out to help writers understand how they can develop their stories by understanding their character’s bodies. This studio is all about the 5 senses, taking space in the narrative and creating tension.
