    Attention Mentees and Mentors!
    We will inform you of the Journey you have been enrolled in during mid June. At that time, you’ll also be introduced to your Journey Staff Lead and receive your orientation registration link.

  • Mentee & Mentor Orientation – Summer 2025

    Join us for the Mentee & Mentor Orientation—your official introduction to the Girls Write Now Collaboratory and the first step toward a successful and creative cycle together. This orientation session is required for all new mentees and new mentors. Returning mentees and mentors are warmly welcome to attend.

    The Gender Communications Toolbox: Empowering Yourself Professionally

    This month’s beginner-level workshop explores how gender influences communication in professional settings. Participants will engage in discussion and writing activities to examine real-world scenarios through a gender-aware lens.

    Using Social Media for Advocacy

    The first session explores how young people can use social media as a tool for advocacy, education, and storytelling. Participants will examine real world examples and begin developing their own message or campaign.

    This month, we’ll discuss promotion and distribution of the Girls Write Now anthology. Guest speaker Dominique Jones from Dutton will also join us to share insights into her cover design process and what goes into creating an effective book cover.
