Women’s Media Group Scholarship
Win $2K + 3-Year Free Membership to an Incredible Network of Women in Media!
Open to students currently enrolled in a US college or university with an expected graduation date of 2027 or 2028. You do NOT need to have “media” in the title of your major to apply! You can be studying English, creative writing, literature, journalism, design, film, tv, STEM—just about anything. You only need to demonstrate interest in the media industry through coursework, clubs, extracurricular activities, internships, jobs, leadership skills, or experience.
Women’s Media Group (WMG) will award one $2,000 scholarship to be used to support the Scholar recipient’s writing, with preference to a rising college junior or senior who is a Girls Write Now mentee or mentee alum. WMG encourages students from underrepresented populations and/or economically disadvantaged backgrounds to apply.
