Since 2022, Girls Write Now mentor Nevin Mays​​​​​​​ has worked with Women’s Media Group (WMG) to create a scholarship specially for Girls Write Now in order to extend the group’s benefits to new communities. All students who receive financial support from WMG also receive free membership to WMG for three years while they’re in school or starting their media careers, enabling each WMG Scholar to participate in all networking events, career-development programs and workshops, and opportunities to socialize. Girls Write Now and Women’s Media Group are fully committed to supporting the next generation of media superstars and innovators, and recognize that everyone has something to contribute.
