CS #18: The Power of Fan Works: Creating Media by Harnessing Your Inner Fan

About the Event

Fans have produced transformative works for decades, and they have become an integral part of pop culture and the internet. Taking our favorite pieces of media, we’ll consider our personal connections to fandoms and use them as inspiration to create our own fanworks!

Fandom communities have a wide variety of people, but it can sometimes be hard to start engaging with the community. One great way to interact is participating in challenges such as Big Bangs and Reverse Big Bans have fandom artists and writers collaborate together on projects! This workshop will take inspiration from such challenges, and we will create in response to different mediums of fan works.
