All Aboard: Sailing Across Scholarships, Fellowships, and Friendship

About the Event

Sail the seven seas this summer as we explore and successfully apply to scholarships and fellowships. In this community studio, we will learn how to articulate our life experiences and academic and professional goals for the most common essay prompts. We will also learn how to stay organized when juggling multiple deadlines, create and sustain support systems, and most importantly, continue believing in yourself and your story through low and high tides.

In this session, participants will learn the difference between a scholarship and fellowship and become introduced to databases and resources to find opportunities. Using the community studio lead’s Laidlaw Scholarship as a case study, participants will begin freewritng a vision of their long-term goals.
