Your personal statement is more than just another essay—it’s your story. Led by Girls Write Now veteran mentor and teaching artist Susanna Horng, a Clinical Professor in NYU’s Liberal Studies program, this interactive workshop will explore what sets apart the personal statement, introduce a fresh approach to crafting your narrative, highlight key do’s and don’ts, and help you begin a draft to build on.

This event is required for College Ready: Drafting Your Narrative Journey participants.
