About the Event

In this community studio, each session will involve looking at pioneering African female & non binary writers and how they rewrote the histories & narratives of their identities. Following this exploration, attendees will be given the space to reflect on the ways their identities have been written or told & rewrite these narratives.

In our final studio, we will be looking at ways we can build community through the shared interest & power of writing by the example of queer African writers.
