Thriving as a Change-Maker: Financial Wellness & Social Responsibility

Saturday, Nov. 18
12:30-2PM ET

virtual event; open to all mentees, mentors, and program alum | required for Career 360 and College 360 participants, suggested for Lead 360

Join us for a conversation to kickstart a three-part series with author, scholar, and financial advisor Dr. Noni Denise Carter on financial wellness. We will be discussing ideas, tips, and strategies related to financial stability as part of a larger conversation around professional development and community engagement.

What possibilities open up when we allow ourselves to respond and interact with money in ways that edify our communities and families and pave the way for greater social justice initiatives? How do our emotions surrounding money foreclose opportunities to otherwise thrive and give back? What kinds of strategies allow us to expand our perceptions of wealth-building and create sustainable structures for our families and communities across generations?
