Visual Verse: Dare to Draw a Poem
About the Event
This studio is for poets and artists alike, at any level, who want to explore and have fun with the connection between art and poetry. You do not need to know how to draw, or know what iambic pentameter is! As long as something about words and art sets your heart aflutter, you have the tools to create something you didn’t think you could.
This month, be prepared to learn about how easy zine creation can be (and what a zine is!) as well as how to pair photos and visual artwork with the written word to create something new and beautiful. No experience or supplies needed — just come prepared for a night of chill vibes and three or more of your own photos for this project.
