Thursday, Apr. 21
6-6:30 PM ET

Hosted on Twitter Spaces and open to the public

In celebration of Earth Day, please Join Girls Write Now for our first ever Twitter Spaces event—including live discussion and open Q&A—with esteemed author, activist and friend of Girls Write Now, Roxane Gay. Gay will explore the intersection between feminism and environmentalism, and how our words have the power to enact real change on both fronts. On Twitter Spaces, you can ask your burning questions, and get inspired to fight for a better tomorrow!

This event is a follow up to our April 20 workshop, Earth Day with Twitter: Poetry for Our Planet, in which Girls Write Now mentees will collaborate with Twitter mentors for the day to create cento poems about caring for the world around us—ledby poet, educator and Girls Write Now mentee alumna, Brittany Barker.
