Happening now through Nov. 8, 2021! Girls Write Now is thrilled to team up with Agent of Change Partner Meredith Corporation on an amazing opportunity to be published in Real Simple magazine!

Meredith national media and Girls Write Now meet for an intergenerational exchange to help teen writers ideate and draft winning essays for the Real Simple Essay Contest launching October 13. Meredith employees—“Mentors for the Day”—help mentees take their drafts to the next level using Active Listening techniques in small breakout rooms. Employees will also answer questions about their professional journeys at magazines like InStyle, Real Simple and People.

Sometimes our most important and meaningful writing assignments are the hardest ones to do—for example, a toast or tribute for someone we admire, a thank you letter, wedding vows or a personal essay for college.
