In this session, participants will learn about positive visioning for climate futures, read excerpts of a climate fiction story, and brainstorm ideas for a positive climate future. The lesson will culminate in the co-creation of a future climate narrative.
In partnership with NBCUniversal, this workshop gives mentees the opportunity to learn how to create and deliver a compelling elevator pitch. Mentees should come with an idea for a media project they’d like to develop.
In the Refining Your Pitch workshop, mentees will explore what makes a successful pitch, how to market themselves, and how to convey their ideas effectively. After drafting their elevator pitch, mentees will have the opportunity to receive personalized feedback from an NBCUniversal Mentor for the Day.
