More than 71 inches

Yes, we are all either short, average, or tall, but there is more to us than height. It’s about who we are on the inside. Look into the interior and less at the exterior. We are all perfect the way we are. We are never too this or that.

I love being tall
I would hate to be small
I’m tall like a tree but hey that’s me
I know I’m tall but no, I don’t play ball
I don’t care for this conversation all

I know I’m five eleven,
I see myself twenty four seven
But my height isn’t really that relevant
What matters is that I’m intelligent and my height
is only part of my development,
I’m like a chemical element,
My unique qualities are evident

Being tall is not the only thing that defines
me when I hear it all the time it stings like a bee,
I wish they would see that there’s more to me

If people could see beyond my height
they would realize that I’m bright
not because I’m high but I’m full of light,
I see things from a different sight but that doesn’t mean
that I’m uptight
I’d appreciate it if you didn’t look at me
like a hermaphrodite

Girls come in many different sizes and when everyone
realizes we will be undivided if anything reunited
Being tall doesn’t make me any less feminine, in fact
I benefit because I look elegant
and no, I’m not a gentleman

For the last time! I’m not too tall! Do I need to install
that into your brain
because you don’t seem to recall, not at all
And while this has been fun, I really should run because
this conversation is too overdone

How’s the weather up there you asked?
It’s about negative two degrees maxed and while we both
listen to the same weather cast, I’ll leave you with that thought
because it’s the only one that I’ve got
