This month, we’re honored to announce our partnership with THINK, a line of women’s fitness apparel designed to promote positive thinking, empowerment and a healthy lifestyle. Based in Brooklyn, THINK values its local community, and each month donates 10% of its proceeds to a charity or nonprofit organization that aligns itself with THINK’s causes of female health and empowerment.
We’re so grateful that this December, THINK has chosen to support Girls Write Now – and what’s more, that we’ve been able to expand our supportive community that believes in empowering girls to find their voices through writing. We look forward to what we can accomplish together, voices on voices.
Founder Mariel Heather, a former journalist herself, says of Girls Write Now’s cause: “I believe this is a crucial cause and one that doesn’t seem to get the attention it deserves. . . .Writing is a craft, one that can inspire, change and even move us. Whether I’m writing an email, blog entry, social media post, a tweet, flyer, business card, or even something as simple as a text message, I’m using my writing as a voice. It’s imperative to develop this skill so that you can deliver any message you have in a clear, concise and compelling fashion.”
Thank you, THINK!
