I must say, the Dorkshops as a whole were one awesome experience. It was a whole new world of technology, Adobe and bagels (so maybe the bagels aren’t a new thing). All the essentials we needed were stored in our handy dandy flash drives we received when we first walked in. It included the usual packet, example text and pictures, and Adobe InDesign. InDesign was the program we began to learn how to use. It was confusing, I admit, but I’m confident I’ll get the hang of it. Its purpose is to help us create a professional-looking project to add to the e-anthology. I look forward to future Dorkshops; may they grow dorkier and more fabulous!
