The spring Digital Workshops (or “Dorkshops”) took off with a journey: for the first Writing Lab of the year we focused on destinations. The destination could be a place that you found recently or your favorite place in the world since you were little. We then answered some questions about our places, which varied from what does the place look like, smell like, and even taste like, to whom did we meet there. After the questions, we moved on to writing a review or recommendation to someone who has never been to the place before. We had to put in the good, the bad, and the ugly, as well as try to convince the reader they should care about the place. Some of the writers chose secret gardens, and others vacation spots, but we all enjoyed hearing about the different destinations!
