We’re thrilled you’re joining us to expand your professional network and gain exposure to industries in need of your talent! College & Career Chats give young women and gender expansive youth access and exposure to industries in need of their talents, while creating opportunities for youth to build their professional networks. There is market demand for stellar communication skills, and Girls Write Now is here to support you in becoming competitive candidates for the trails you choose to blaze.
Arrive at 4:30 for a prep session before engaging with employees, “Mentors for the Day”, from a diverse array of industries. Hear about their alma maters, their personal and professional journeys, their tips for college as it relates to their given field, and have the opportunity to ask questions.

4:46pm – 4:56pm Heartwarmer (like an icebreaker), Everyone shares

4:57pm – 5:12pm (15 minutes) Panel Questions (Mentees can hear from all of the Mentors for the Day)
5:12pm – 5:17pm Opening Lines Write in main room, share in breakout rooms
5:17pm – 5:19pm Breakout Room Instructions
5:19pm – 5:20pm Group Photo Cameras on for a quick group photo
5:20pm – 5:50pm (30 minutes) Breakout Rooms
