Mentee Affinity Groups
Mentee Affinity Groups are spaces for mentees to discuss self-identified topics, leading to self-discovery, group advocacy, and a sense of belonging. Affinity Group meetings are open to all mentees who self-identify with the group, and mentees are welcome to join one or more groups.
There are many identities within the Girls Write Now community, and we begin the rollout of Mentee Affinity Groups by prioritizing groups based on demographics from previous years, interests of our current community, and our capacity to responsibly manage and facilitate all. Note: To ensure the groups remain active, we require a certain number of participants to regularly engage.
Below you will find a list in formation of Mentee Affinity Groups. We invite our community to join these and/or to request additional groups not yet listed.
