About the Event

In the words of Abraham Lincoln, democracy is a government of the people by the people for the people. Government impacts every aspect of our lives. We exist at the intersection of local, state, and federal frameworks for how a society should run. With freedom and good fortune comes responsibility, and democracy works best when everything citizens are using their voice to help shape the world we live in.

Join us for this workshop series as we talk through how our government is designed, how it functions at its best, ad why it has always been considered an experiment. You’ll leave with an understanding of how you can make an impact in your community and beyond, whether it’s running for office, helping candidates understand your perspective and recommendations, or launching a campaign to use storytelling to change the hearts and minds of others.
