About the Event

It’s everything and everywhere and, as writers, the material of our craft. What would a writer be without a language to write in? Joins us in a series of studios designed to encourage your own experimentation with language through two specific and exciting avenues: the practice of creating artificial languages and the celebration of indigenous languages as vehicles for storytelling.

Join us for the final language studio of the 2026 Summer cycle! Together we will dive into Indigenous Languages, how they are defined, how they are preserved, and how speakers are adapting to a global future. Language enthusiasts of all levels are welcome!

Date September 25, 2026
Time 5:00 PM – 6:00 PM EDT
