I am a big picture thinker, eternal optimist, and champion of people and organizations working towards more just and sustainable futures. I work as a strategic designer for social purpose organizations as both a day job and in my own partnership agency (and hopefully soon to be cooperative). I also teach a course in social impact design for Pratt Institute's MFA in Communication Design. Outside of work, I am a hungry reader, a dabbler in creative hobbies (spoon carving to figure drawing, you name it), a chocolate and vegetable lover, a newsletter writer, and a volunteer at my community garden. I spend a lot of my time long-distance running, whether on trails if I can get to them or with my community run groups. I spend as much time outside and in the sun as I possibly can.
