Christina Poulin
(she/her) Mentee
A lifelong writer, Christina Poulin dreams of becoming a full-time author (or a character in a Remedios Varo painting). From fiction to poetry to creative nonfiction, she loves exploring all genres. When she isn’t writing, watching true crime or reading Gothic lit, Christina enjoys learning about history and practicing her Spanish. From Chopin to Bowie, she fills her days with a variety of music and can often be found with headphones on. Christina consumes horror movies like oxygen but has a love-hate relationship with the dark. You can read her work in Mochi Magazine and Dear GlobalGirls Magazine.

Artist‘s Statement
I crafted my college essay at the beginning of my gap year while facing uncertainty about my future. In it, I analyzed my identity by reflecting on my past. Later, after being accepted into college, I started looking towards my future. I revisited my cover letter while researching job opportunities and career options for college students. These works cover not only a year, but also my entire life as I see it now, spanning past, present, and future.
