
Where I’m From
This is a poem about where I'm from as a 16-year-old, born and raised in Queens, New York in a small family of four.
Grace Wang is a junior in high school where she majors in vocals. She is very proud this year to have been accepted to the Broadway Dance Center’s youth performance company, Arts in Motion. When she’s not studying or dancing, Grace can be found reading, hanging out with friends or rowing in Flushing Meadows Corona Park. Her favorite book is “Where The Crawdads Sing.”

Grace is a passionate author hailing from Queens, New York. She enjoys empowering by writing about issues that are dear to her, such as fighting Asian injustice, and bodily autonomy rights. In her free time, she loves to read, dance, and sing. She hopes her work will unite her audience and leave them feeling empowered.
