Jubaida is a high school junior from Queens New York. She likes writing essays and enjoys writing about her experiences. Writing helps her let everything out and allows her to reflect. Once she starts writing, she doesn’t stop and she loves that.

All my work is inspired by what’s within me. That is what it should be like, to begin with. The work I created under Girls Writes Now allowed me to explore myself as a writer. I got to understand my identity and apply it to my publications. I will continue to create meaningful stories from what is inside me.
