Lenora Houseworth is a writer, digital content strategist + creator, integrated marketer with a focus on wellness, beauty and social justice based in the New York City area. As a social media strategist, she has helped both Fortune 500 companies and small businesses across various industries grow their online presence and garner media placement in outlets such as the Washington Post and Yahoo!. As a journalist, her work intersects race and female empowerment. In 2018, she created the blog #DareMeBeautiful, which focuses on body positivity for women of color. She has been a contributor at ESSENCE, TEDTalks, Black Enterprise, Teen Vogue and more. Her personal blog LenoraSheWrote highlights beauty and culture. As a Chicago native, Lenora holds a Bachelor of Science in Journalism from Bradley University in Illinois, where she also studied at the University of Ljubljana in Slovenia. In her spare time, she enjoys photography and avocados.
