Muna Mir is a class of 2022 Girls Write Now Mentee, based in Manhattan, New York. She has recently completed her undergraduate studies in English Literature and Classics and expects to spend the next few years bouncing around Europe, deepening her knowledge of all things books. Her five-year plan revolves around figuring out how to make enough money so that she might live somewhere quiet, with only the birds to disturb her writing.

Amid a changing world, my writing has provided a sense of stillness, anchoring me in moments which seem otherwise to slip through my fingers before I am able to taste them. My writing strives to immortalise the small moments, knowing it is these we live in, these which become our lives.
