Born and raised in the Philippines, Pauline Gordula is currently a high school senior in Queens, New York. She enjoys writing nonfiction essays, listening to The Beatles and baking pastries. She hopes to use her writing to narrate her immigrant experience in New York City and inspire other immigrants.
