Artist‘s Statement
Teen angst is at the very heart of my writing. There’s nothing quite like the journey of self-discovery and the adolescent longing for acceptance, identity, and purpose. I try to capture that in my work. My short stories follow the narratives of teens who are thrust into terrifying, unfamiliar environments. Through them, I flesh out painful coming-of-age stories about loss, suffering, and personal growth. I enjoy dissecting the madness of the world and exploring the real human reactions to it.
