The Unofficial Hafsah
The Unofficial Hafsah is a young Muslimah living in the Bronx. She is the child of Senegalese immigrants and rooted in her culture. Her connection to writing blossomed while quarantining as she felt, “there was too much to be said to be silent.” The art of writing continues to amaze her with its malleable beauty and purpose. She hopes to heal herself and her community through her writing.
