Venetta Vanhorne

Venetta Vanhorne is a financial services professional who helps individuals and business owners develop sound financial strategies to create and sustain wealth. Ms. Vanhorne holds an MBA and graduated Cum Laude from Long Island University with a dual Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management/Marketing. Ms. Vanhorne was the Recipient of the LIU School of Business 2011 Excellence Awards in Marketing and Management and has over 15 years of experience leading and implementing programs/projects to improve the socioeconomic status of women and their families. She was instrumental in the execution of several community projects, including the New York State Health Commissioner Listening Session for Brooklyn and a community-based participatory research project with CAMBA, MAPS Corps, Mount Sinai Health Systems and SUNY Downstate Medical Center. In 2011 Ms. Vanhorne was honored by CAMBA for being a role model and for her drive to help people succeed. In addition, Ms. Vanhorne is a philanthropist promoting education and professional development through the Phenomenal Girls’ Symposium, a program created in 2012 to empower girls 12-18 years old. The Phenomenal Girls’ Symposium was enacted in New York State Senate as a Legislative Resolution on April 30, 2019.
