Dear Friend,
“There is no greater agony than bearing an untold story inside you.” — Maya Angelou
That agony is both personal and societal. We all suffer if stories are not shared, if minds are not opened. We depend on these stories to tell us what is going on in our own lives, our communities, and our country.
What is going on? A lot, roar the young women from Girls Write Now. And they are bravely telling their stories, with unwavering support from a mentor and a community who values — and champions — the voices that are not often heard. Today, there is unprecedented noise that threatens to silence these voices. Girls Write Now will not let this happen.

When you champion a young woman’s voice, she can reach her full potential. And her voice has the power to change minds, to heal communities, to impact the world.
