In this event, you'll think through the meaning of food and community—what food brings to community, how we connect over food, and what food means in a variety of contexts. We'll meet at the Lower East Side Girls Club for a night of charcuterie-board making, table decorating, and poetry writing!

This event will also feature a live DJ and food and drink. We’ll meet at Nike HQ to end our self-care celebration week!

For our fifth annual STARS town hall, we'll be meeting at the Weeksville Heritage Center to talk through mental health, gun violence, metal detectors, and public transportation to school.

At this Summer Exploratory, you’ll learn about Girls Write Now's Collaboratory, hear from our veteran Mentors and Mentees about their GWN experiences, jump right in with some fun exercises on query letter writing led by GWN Mentor and literary agent Madeline Wallace, and learn how to apply to the Collaboratory.
