Discovering Oneself: Creative Nonfiction Writing

Creative nonfiction, especially personal essays, comes in many different forms from memoir to nature writing to lyric essays. In this studio we’ll delve into these many different forms through reading and prompts as a way to discover more about ourselves and the complex world we live in.
This month, we’ll learn about writing memoir and consider how memoir is a way to learn about ourselves. Attendees will be able to practice their memoir writing skills through personal exploration.
