About the Event

In this studio, we’ll cover the basics of screenwriting and have fun creating scenes using that particular format. Why does a screenplay look the way it looks, and how does the writer set the vision for directors, actors, and crew to bring the story from the page to the screen?

What makes a screenplay? This month, we’ll learn the format and practice writing for the specific way a script is created as a blueprint for future collaborators — such as the actors, director, and all the other film departments!
